Recipes of Innercircle – the recipes handed down by generations

Indian cooking

This was one of my first blog that I had started way back in 2017. It was then that I had decided on the name Recipes of Innercircle. It took me almost 5 years to achieve my dream but nevertheless I did.

Lets read how recipes of innercircle started

Yesterday was a really cold day for December in Uttarakhand, India and we were expecting a snowfall. I wanted a some really hot chocolate and some toasties for lunch so went to this really nice place in our neighborhood called Cafe Coffee Day or as we like to call it CCD. While I stood there waiting for the change at the counter I saw a diary/notebook with picture  and just to while away time I started sniffing through it. I came across a page that mentioned some resolution and something struck me … It mentioned “share the family recipes” and I realized that with the love of cooking that I got from my mother why not start a project about documenting some family recipes which I love… Apparently my mother, my mother in law and myself are in love with cooking.

For me cooking is like meditation and I really don’t think anything beyond kitchen when I cook. The satisfaction what I get when I taste that beautiful homemade dish by myself from scratch  beyond explanation.Food is like the door to my soul.

And when I love it so much then why not share it…..

So here I am starting a new project on making my inner food goddess (Annapurna) happy …. :).
