Meethe Chirote Recipe – Sweet Khaja Recipe

Meethe Chirote Recipe

Meethe Chiroti Recipe or Chirote some people also like to call it khaja. I have eaten sweet as well as savoury Chirote and both are so addictive.

It is a very interesting snack item from Diwali snack that we prepare at home. I am a Maharastrian and proud.

We loved making Chirote during Ganesh Chaturthi, Diwali, Gudi padwa you think of a festival and we loved to make it.

We just needed a reason to make this addictive dish. I have had similar sweets in Bangalore too when I had stayed there.

I guess I had eaten that during a friend’s marriage. Those Chiroti were similar to this one and I Loved it.

Now a day I don’t even wait for a festival I just make it when I feel the knack for it. Its one of my favorite snack with some nice Indian ginger tea or just saffron milk or almond milk.

The layers that form and how they melt in your mouth is such divine. It’s so delicate and wonderful to taste.
